The Power of Stories

Date:

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Time:

11:00am-12:30pm

Location:

Sunlight Peak, 37th Floor

Track(s):

Make It Happen
The Power of Stories

Stories have the ability to transform confrontation into exchange, speeches into dialogue, and conflict into resolution. This session will focus on how to use story telling and gathering to bridge divides, catalyze engagement, and uncover deeply held shared values. You’ll learn storytelling tools and techniques, hear some heartening success stories, and come away with a renewed confidence in the power of stories to help us communicate who we are, where we’ve been and what we want for the future of our communities.

Barbara Ganley will moderate this session.
