Stories are the heart of a strong community. As we share stories, we weave the social fabric of trust that is integral to our sense of belonging to place and community. How does storytelling affect our community engagement efforts? How do stories lead to action? In this hands-on workshop, you will explore a range of storytelling practices as you move through the steps of planning your own community projects, from mapping networks to harvesting values and using them to inform actions. We’ll tell stories and listen to one another and explore various storytelling approaches and how to integrate them into processes already in place in your community. (This workshop is included in registration. Lunch is not included.)
