Improving Health One Community at a Time

How can policy, design and planning influence health care costs, improve community health and enhance the livability of a place? In this session, you’ll learn: how local transportation solutions can encourage more walking; how well-designed education, farming and business alliances can improve the diets of children and adults alike; how smart policies can influence the fundamental choices people make; and how neighbors can help neighbors live well. Come away with small steps to improving your community’s health that could result in giant transformations.

Rachel Winer will moderate this session.
