Vice President at the Project for Public Spaces
Design isn’t just about looking good. From buildings and streetscapes to products and posters, communities need to start seeing design as a tool to engage citizens, change behavior, and create the kinds of spaces, places and actions they want to see. This panel will explore several different types of design – landscapes, gathering places, and graphic design – and how communities can use them to proactively create connections, protect and enhance local character and help citizens engage with their neighbors and neighborhoods.
Ethan Kent will moderate this session.
