Bruce has over ten years experience in applying financial analysis and market-derived data to the management of rural land assets in the Northern Rockies. This includes specialized expertise in real estate research, property economics, acquisition planning and disposition strategies for ranches, recreational properties and agricultural lands in transition.
His background includes experience with a variety of landowners and properties across a broad range of rural land applications. His familiarity and proficiency in the unique aspects of limited development projects designed to protect open space, rural character and conservation values has been accumulated through direct experience with private developers as well as other initiatives across the region. This work has included acquisition due diligence, market studies and project feasibility analysis.
In working closely with some of the region’s leading land planners, architects, appraisers, resource specialists, financing and legal professionals, Bruce has developed practical experience across the functional areas of concept development, demand assessment, programming, finance, entitlements, market positioning, sales and project management. He has also assisted landowners in the planning and execution of conservation easements and other resource-driven strategies to meet specific land use objectives.
Bruce received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Penn State University in 1983. He is an affiliate member of both the Appraisal Institute and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers; he also holds an active real estate license.
